Mayol and Calderon first fought last June at the Madison Square Garden in the Joshua Clottey vs Miguel Cotto undercard and their 12-round bout boxing mayhem, was resulted in a technical draw, that was stopped at 1:15 in the sixth round due to excessive bleeding from a cut that Calderon sustained from an accidental head butt.
Mayol’s rematch with Calderon, also known as “Iron Boy,” will take place at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.
