An open to the public press conference will be held on Wednesday night at 7pm at the Union Park Lounge, 228 S. Racine Ave in Chicago, just three blocks north of the UIC Pavilion.
The Escalante vs Stark boxing event is presented by Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions.
The 23 year old Escalante has won five in a row, brings a record of 19-2-1 (12KO’s) and is ranked #6 by the World Boxing Association.
While the New York native Stark, making his first Chicago appearance, brings a record of 22-2-1 (8KO’s) into the twelve round battle with Escalante. He’s won four in a row, most recently a unanimous decision over Leiva Brea in New York City.
