In the boxing event entitled Firepower, Manny Pacquiao relentlessly unleashed all firepower he got to defeat and take the WBO Welterweight title from Miguel Cotto via stoppage on the twelfth round. A TKO victory is another victory in the Philippines.
A true pound-fo-pound and the best fighter has now made another history. Winning the WBO welterweight title is now the seventh title of Manny Pacquiao. This was never accomplished by any other boxer in the face of the world. Another history was made in MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The golden era of professional boxing indeed is in the shoes of Manny Pacquiao. This was made in my generation and I will treasure it forever.
